其實敘述故事情節唔一定用 present tense 的，用 past tense 都可以。
Anyway 你可以將句句子改成以下咁:
As I read on, the truth was being disclosed. At last, I have found out that the plot of the book is about a couple controlling a hound to kill people.
咁樣 grammar 就應該冇錯。
