You need a camera with macro or telephoto function, or a DSLR with macro lens (50mm-100mm) ... or a zoom lens (200mm is ok)
there is 3 ways to handle commercial of clothing ...
#1. Treat the clothes as the object or model, without any human wearing it.

#2. Treat the clothes + the model as single object, the human is wearing it.

#3. Treat MULTIPLE CLOTHS + MULTIPLE models as a single area with a REAL LIFE SETTING ... and label them differently, as you see in a clothing catalogue ... ( MOST NATURAL AND POPULAR )

I recommend #3, that should make your photo very professional ...
but if you want focus on one person or one clothing, #2 is good ...
