How many miles is it from Chinatown to Times Square?

Rule of thumb: 20 blocks are about a mile. 42nd Street is about 50 blocks from Canal Street, so 2.5 miles.

Less than a mile if you mean the China town in Newcastle Upon Tyne UK to Time Square in same city

Definitely good exercise walking it but you'd be better off just grabbing either the "N", "Q", "R" or "W" trains at Times Square and getting off at Canal Street.

I'm not sure the miles, but I do know the distance is approximately 70 blocks.
