✔ 最佳答案
4^x - 2^(x+3) - 1 = 0
(2^2)^x - (2^x)*(2^3) - 1 = 0
(2^x)^2 - 8*(2^x) - 1 = 0 -------------------------(1)
Let 2^x = y
Then (1) --> y^2 - 8y - 1 = 0
It is a quadratic equation

4^x - 2^(x+3) - 1 =0
2^(2x) - 2^x(8) - 1 = 0
the required equation:
k^2 - 8k - 1 = 0 ,where k = 2^x

4^x - 2^(x+3) - 1 =0
(2^2)^x - (2^x)(2^3) -1 =0
(2^x)^2 -8(2^x) - 1 = 0

let y = 2^x

y^2 -8y -1 =0
