Located in between Des Voeux Road and , Sheung Wan, this building is Western Market at present, which was identified by Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) as one of the Declared Monuments in 1990.
The original building consisted by two parts, South Block and North Block, both were built by the same architectural attributes.
The South Block built in year 1914 and disassembled in year 1980. At present, only remains the North Block which built in year 1920, but its area is smaller than South Block. During the period of Second World War, this building had been used as grain store.
