Although 之後是否要"ing"?

不一定， 若放"ing"是因为没有object(名词或代名词)在前面，
所以，要放ing。
在object不重要时，就不用放object，但是动词要放ing。

如：

Although taking taxi is expensive, she has no choice because she is late.
(强调“搭taxi很贵“）
Although she needs to spend a lot to take taxi, she has no choice because she is late.
（强调“她需要用很多钱搭taxi）

"Although" is a conjunction. So It should be followed by a clause ( a complete sentence) instead of Gerund (ing).

---> Although ___A____, ____B____. OR

_______A______, although ____B____.

eg. Although it was raining, we decided to go for a walk.
