The IUPAC name for the following compound is

是以甚麼條件決定答案是D而不是C?

計所 substitute 的 carbon 之位置數目的.以 1,1,3,4 和 1,2,4,4, 看:
首個: 同樣是 1, 打和, 所以要看第二個位置.
第二個: 一個是 1, 另一個是 2, 所以我們取了 1,1,3,4 為答案.
亦要留意是: 如果首個時已分出大小, 就一定取較小值那個而絕非取總和較小的那個. 而且 substitute group 英文字頭只會影響 naming 時那個行先的問題而不是位置數目的取向

因為不是排數字,也不是排有幾多substitution(即是係mono定di),只看你substitute是哪個group(bromo定chloro),才排alphabetical order.
