First, edcuation does not produce talented people. Talent means natural endowment of a person that you're born with.
Second, overall the passage is too income-oriented. Talented or educated people don't just make more money, they have more options and can impart more extensive changes to the world.
Third, the fact that employers are always looking for talented/educated employees is absolutely not a trend. It's been like this forever. If it's really a trend to you, you may need to justify what made you think so.
