must to and have 有咩分別..?

不知提問者是否指 must / have to
must / have to 同樣可以解作 " 必須 "
但兩者有一點分別 ,

e.g.
must 指說話人的權威 :
Mother to You : " You must wear a dress tonight . "
( 媽媽要你這樣做 )

have to 指外界的權威 :
You to Your Friend : " I have to wear a dress tonight . "
( 你依媽媽的指示而做 )

Doctor to You : " You must cut down on your smoking .
( 醫生要你這樣做 )
You to Your Friend : " I have to cut down on my smoking . "
( 你依醫生的指示而做 )

如果行動是自己的主意 , 用 : I must ....如果行動是外來因素 , 用 : I have to ...但亦可以用 : I must ...用於第一身人稱 I , must 或 have to 分別並不是太明顯的 .

如上述例句中 :You to Your Friend : ' I have to cut down on my smoking . '此句就是外來因素 . 外來者就是醫生的忠告 ,You to Your Friend : ' I must cut down on my smoking . '就是你本人自己的主意 .

亦可以說 :Mother to you : ' You should cut down on your smoking . 'should 用於較溫和的忠告 , 亦可用於人的認知和對社會的責任 , smoking 對身體不太好 , 所以 ' ( should ) 應該 ' 少抽 .

must=一定要／一定要做
e.g We must do our homework every day.
have=需要，但唔一定要
e.g We have swim in this Sunday.

MUST = 一定會做....

has/have to = 一定要做....

兩者很多時可以互相通用的.
