香港管弦樂團，簡稱港樂，是香港最有代表性的交響樂團。



香港管弦樂團，前身就是中英管弦樂團，成立於1895年。1957年，才改組為香港管弦樂團。改組後首場音樂會就是於同年10月31日在香港大學陸佑堂舉行。1959年，曾經成立中國音樂組，由張永壽作指揮，但舉行一次公開演出之後就解散了。1974年，正式開始職業化，並由香港康樂及文化事務署資助，是香港最早創立的職業化西樂管弦樂團。樂團有89位成員，每年有超過100場表演。樂團每年演出70多場免費交響及室樂音樂會，配合音樂教育計劃，及於香港各大學舉行巡迴交響音樂會，加上示範講解。令小、中至大學生認識古典音樂。在培育新人方面，樂團推行年度合作計劃，與香港演藝學院合力培育專業音樂人才。








香港著名音樂家葉詠詩曾於1986年至2000年7月擔任香港管弦樂團駐團指揮。樂團現任藝術總監兼總指揮是荷蘭籍指揮家艾度·迪華特，由2004/05樂季起上任。



香港管弦樂團曾與香港多位著名歌手合作表演，包括李克勤、張學友、葉倩文、林憶蓮、倫永亮、黃耀明等。

在香港芭蕾舞團目前有四十多名成員都來自香港、亞洲及世界各地。而芭蕾舞團的經濟來源，主要來自香港藝術發展局的撥款、康樂及文化事務署之贊助。

香 港 芭 蕾 舞 團 於 1979 年 成 立 ， 是 亞 洲 區 的 主 要 古 典 芭 蕾 舞 團 之 一 ， 曾 應 邀 到 北 美 、 歐 洲 、 國 內 及 其 他 亞 洲 地 區 演 出 ， 贏 得 國 際 聲 譽 。 香 港 芭 蕾 舞 團 演 出 的 劇 目 廣 泛 ， 除 古 典 芭 蕾 舞 、 新 古 典 作 品 及 近 代 短 篇 外 ， 亦 致 力 編 創 以 古 典 芭 蕾 舞 技 巧 為 基 礎 的 原 創 舞 劇 如 《 末 代 皇 帝 》 、 《 不 死 傳 說 》 及 《 蘇 絲 黃 》 等 。
香港芭蕾舞團以原創劇目、優秀舞蹈員及高水準的製作建立其獨特鮮明的形象，現為亞洲最具領導地位的專業古典芭蕾舞團之一。近年，舞團於歐洲、北美洲、新加坡及國內多個城市巡演，履行香港文化大使的任務，亦奠定舞團的國際聲譽。

作為香港唯一的專業古典芭蕾舞團，除了演繹古典芭蕾舞作品外，亦致力編創以古典芭蕾舞技巧為基礎的原創舞劇。舞團的四十三名舞蹈員，由十一個不同國籍的舞者組成，其中以本港、內地及其他亞洲地區的精英居多。此外，舞團的教育及外展部則積極在學校及社區舉辦教育專場和工作坊，在培育舞團下一代觀眾之餘，也為香港藝術教育出一分力。

舞團的經濟來源，主要為香港藝術發展局的撥款、康樂及文化事務署之贊助、大型籌款活動以及票房收入等。

二零零六年七月，米瀚文出任香港芭蕾舞團藝術總監，為舞團揭開新的一頁。米瀚文為舞團製作的首個節目《巴蘭欽．舞越凡音》，盡顯舞者出色技巧及多元化的風格，因而榮獲香港舞蹈聯盟頒發「香港舞蹈年獎2007」。

香港芭蕾舞團在米瀚文的領導下，將演出更多元化的節目以饗觀眾，包括經典芭蕾劇、二十世紀傑作及當代原創；並以澎湃動力，立足亞洲，面向世界。

Hong Kong Ballet is one of the leading professional classical ballet companies in Asia. We are a vibrant dance company with an original identity, excellent dancers and superb productions. For the past few years the Company has served as a Cultural Ambassador for Hong Kong, having performed in Europe, North America, Singapore and major cities in Mainland China, where audiences have received our performances with enthusiasm.
Hong Kong Ballet presents a broad-based repertoire that includes classical ballets as well as contemporary works and many original productions. The Company's 43 dancers come from diverse backgrounds, with the majority from Hong Kong, Mainland China and other Asian countries. Combined with its bold artistic vision and excellent dancers, Hong Kong Ballet exemplifies the vitality and ingenuity of the city of Hong Kong.
Educational programmes also form an integral part of the Company's activities to make the art of ballet accessible to the local community. In addition to our staged productions, educational matinees, demonstrations and workshops are undertaken regularly at schools, community halls and other venues.

Funding for the Company comes mainly from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, sponsorships and performance fees from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, fundraising activities and ticket sales.
A new chapter opened for the Hong Kong Ballet when John Meehan joined the Company as Artistic Director in July of 2006. Meehan’s first season highlight, Balanchine and Beyond showcased the Company’s versatility and technical brilliance. Balanchine and Beyond received the Hong Kong Dance Award 2007 held by Hong Kong Dance Alliance.
In addition to the ballet classics, Meehan will continue to stage a wide variety of productions including masterpieces of the 20th century and new creations, with the aim to establish the best classical ballet company in Asia and beyond.
