No scientest have proven there is no such thing as time travel its impossible

Perhaps ! But, if time travel is ultimately possible, shouldn't we already have seen "things" from the future. After all won't the future time-travellers go back in time . . . to our present time ?

Perhaps we haven't recognised them yet, for it might not be possible for matter to travel back in time. Perhaps phase waves can be utilised in some sort of information gathering way, to act as probes into the past.

If our current laws of physics are wrong, in the sense that serious adjusments are required, then time-travel may be perfectly feasible. Don't forget that theoretical physics is a series of mathematical models - the models depend on assumptions, and some of the assumptions are almost certainly subtly wrong. Future physics will correct the 'errors', just as we have done to the the physics of our past.

Scientists say that time is one of the dimensions of reality, so presumably there should be a way to move along it. I can't see how one could travel into the future, since it hasn't happened yet, but going into the past and coming back seems more like a possibility. I also don't see how one could alter the past, since it's already happened, but going back as an observer seems more like a possibility. And, if somehow the energies (light and sound) in the past could be tapped and recorded in the time machine, wouldn't that be great? We could find out - and show others - what REALLY happened back then. If anyone uses this idea for a TV series, I want royalties!

No. In order to compentently create a 'time machine,' we would need to split the atoms of everything involved, thus rearranging the organic composition of the being and the machine. We have made single atoms disappear, possibly going back or ahead, however, we are neither capable of tracing them, nor are we able to test where they go.

It's a fantasy that will never be reality.

of course it is! E=MC2 is the key. you see, in the speed of light, energy will come. when energy comes, many possibilities of matter can happen. Around 2029, they should be invented, at least in Japan. And if not, then we will.

yeah there is this thing i read that if positive mass and negative mass touch it creates this time gap then you can go back in time though a wornhole or something but never return its a really scary thought.

no, recently they just proved it to be impossible to travel back into time. and although it's possible to be moving slower than others (by moving really quickly at speed of light), i highly doubt that you can invent a time machine.

Hmmmm. I cant even begin to imagine the first thing you would need to make a time machine, (besides the metal casing). I suppose you never know there maybe a way, but perhaps I'm just being hopeful. :)

Great question!!!!!

yes if we can travel at the speed of light, as close as we get to the speed of light the slower we go,
2007-03-25 7:04 am
Surely, if somebody invents a time machine in the future, we would know about it already.

The faster you go, the more time slows down for you. A person riding a rocket traveling at the 80% of the speed of light experiences 3 seconds for every one of our 5 seconds.

Only if we can travel at speed of light. For now, it's impossible.
