我地都知，做titration，有強酸，落methyl orange，有強鹼，落phenolphthalein
但係，點解我地向來唔落universal indicator呢？

其實titration,特別係involve左 strong acid/base, 個pH change o係個end point係你加多左1drops個pH o既跌幅係好大ga,而你講o既indicator就o係佢跌幅最大個range度,如果用universal indicator o既話,一下子就過左end point(之係你ideal H7綠色),而且佢o既色幾時到end point 跟本用肉眼睇唔出.因為universal indicator唔可以正確指出明顯o既end point,所以我o地係唔會用佢做titration o既indicator.

決為universal indicator的colour change 唔夠sharp,即是佢一直變色，你都唔知幾時是完。
