機場何時決定用邊條跑道?

HKIA is somewhat located at seafront and the rate of temp rise/fall during day/night due to sun heating, is different. this causes land/sea breeze.

In daytime, land is more readily heated up by the sun and wind will blow landward. At night, the land is cooler than the sea, wind will blow seaward. Different wind direction causes different landing direction.
