例如: x^2 = x的二次

^ 這個符號基本上你係平時計數係唔會見到,
只會係平時用直按式計數機(包括電腦的計數機)時,
你會按到指數,
例如2的3次方,
你就要按2^3,
簡單點來說,
^ 這個符號是用作表示指數!

^ it means square. many people cannot write square because the word 2 is over the number. So they think that ^ look like the word would be upper .Therefore, they use ^ to instead of square.
Example:
2^2=2x2=4
2^10=2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2=1024

如果用計數機禁既話,呢個符號即係次方
如果禁2^4,就係2自乘4次咁解 :)
