isolated conductor

is it about physics???
if yes, isolated conductor means
a conductor(conductor is something that charge in it can freely move to anywhere in this object) that is isolated(chagres in it can't be lost or gainned from the surrounding, in an other word, isolated means a close system)

the above situation is usually achieved by supporting the conductor by insulator

In electrical system:
1. isolated implies electrically separated.
2. conductor is the material that can conduct electricity, e.g. copper cable.

Therefore, an isolated conductor is an electrically separated conducting material, e.g. a switched off circuit.
