Depending on whether you are talking about a undergraduate degree of Medicine or a postgraduate degree.
Undergrad. Medicine - everything is included such as chemistry, biology, physics, physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry and maths - all should take about 5 years + 2 yrs of intership.
Postgrad. - some unis accept students from all different basic degree backgrouds (arts, sciences etc.) but they would ask you to do courses in basic biology, physics, chemistry and more advanced level in physiology, pharmacology and biochemistry. Postgrad. courses are about 3 to 4 yrs + 2 ys intership
That also depends on which country you are in...the above applies to the Australian universities, I'm guessing HK would be similar.
