1. both a and b are correct.2. No. Evapoartion involves heat absorption by the object itself, it is not a heat transfer process.
3. Infrared radiation causes a change in the skin pigment. Too intense infrared would cause harm to skin.
4. Latent heat is still absorbed in the process of sublimation as the potential energy of the molecules have been increased.
