1) A is twice as old as B and B is as old as C.If the sum of their ages is 65 years,how old is A?

2) A bottle of juice is shared by A,B and C in ratio of 2:3:5.If C gets 750mL of juice,find the volume of juice in bottle.

A+A/2+A/2=65
A+A=65
2A=65
A=32.5

2)
V[5/(2+3+5)]=750
V=7500/5
V=1500mL

Let C be x years old.
B is as old as C, so B is x years old
A is twice as old as B, so A is 2x years old
Sum of ages = 65
2x + x + x = 65
4x = 65
x = 16.25
Age of A = 2x = 32.5 years old


Let the total volume of juice in bottle be x mL
Then, C can get 5 / (2+3+5) * x mL
Therefore, 5/(2+3+5) * x = 750
5x / 10 = 750
5x = 7500
x = 2500
So, volume of juice is 2500 mL
