Engineer 叫 Ir, Architect 叫??

engineer的銜頭是Ir , 知唔知Architect 的銜頭是什麼?

I dont think its coming from Chinese words of engineer....see below Ir is the short form of "Ingénieur", which is "engineer" in French. ------ Ingénieur vient de l'ancien français engigneor, qui désignait un constructeur d'engins de guerre. -----

Ir只是香港工程師學會內的engineer的銜頭，例如陳大文先生是香港工程師學會內的CORPORATE MEMBER, 名片上便可印上Ir Chan Tai Man, 讓行內人知道他是香港工程師學會內的會員屬工程師級，並非其他學會的工程師也用Ir.

IR = Engineer
It's been invented by Hong Kong Institute of Engineers to promote the professional status of engineers. Similar to DR for doctor.
I = 工程師的"工"
Though the idea of the term is creative. I don't think foreign countries will adopt this. Only Hong Kong people will link up Chinese words with English. So probably this terms will only appear in Hong Kong.
