fake 及 counterfeit 是兩很近似的字，但都有一些意思上及用法上的分別：

counterfeit　是用於描述偽造的東西，是有蓄意欺騙的企圖，常用於假幣，也會用於其他偽造的貴重物品。

fake　是比較 general 的字，一般假的，偽造的，仿製的東西都可以用這用字。例如一些仿製的工藝品，我們可以用fake來形容，但不能用counterfeit。

冒牌係似真野架...所以都都有唔同既~~

so假野唔需要似真野囉~
