AMTD主要是獨立中介人身份(IFA),為客戶與財務機構、保險公司、及投資機構作配對,揀選最合適的產品。

I have been working in this company before. Just the above person said. They are an IFA. Also, they are a subsidary of Cheung Kong Group. They provide all the Financial Activities like Credit Card(AMTD Credit Card with AEON Group), Personal Loan, Mortgage Loan, Insurance and Investments.

If U use their service, it's free of charge(FOC) whether your application is successful or not.

Finally, as I said above, they can provide Personal Loan Service and even Balance Transfer Service depends on your need. They can provide the P Loan provided by one Singaporean Bank (OCBC Bank) and other major financial companies (except PROMISE).
