if notebook's monitor breakdown, can it ..

First of all, you should check that whether your notebook support VGA output.
(ie: You can check you notebook whether have a VGA port)

If it has, then you can use a VGA cable to connect your notebook to a standard monitor. (Another notebook would not be good~ You can just use another idle monitor output!). Then it's work!

Otherwise...sorry... bring to manuf. for check and repair!
