Gatwick Express will take you around 30minutes while NationalExpress will take 2hours... And their cost will be GBP26 for Gatwick Express return and GBP12.6 for NationalExpress return... And the tube (Victoria Line) will take approximately 15minutes to King's Cross...
Then for First Capital Connect (ex-Thameslink), they will bring you to King's Cross Thameslink Train Station which is just a street from King's Cross Railway/Tube Station... The First Capital train will take you approximately 45minutes and will cost you GBP9 per way...
