couple possibilities :

1. there is some loosen hardware connection in the motherboard, check the RAM installation first.

2. BIOS or OC setting problems.

3. Windows installation problem on ADVANCED POWER MANAGEMENT ...

I recommend you to check the above, and reinstall Windows XP from scratch and see if it helps, I don't think it is HARD DRIVE related or Virus related.

But make sure your antivirus is up-to-date and not a privated copy.

1.有些連接主機版的硬件線路鬆開,建議你先檢查下隨機存取記憶體(RAM)

2.可能係設定基本輸入/輸出系統(BIOS)或者開路(OC)出現問題

3.當你安裝Windows時,可能在(Advanced Power Management)方面出現問題

我建議你先重新檢查以上幾項,然後再重新安裝Windows XP,我認為唔關硬式磁碟機(Hard Drive)或者病毒(Virus)的問題.

但你要確定你用的防毒軟件是update,而且唔係私人版權(privated copy)
