ANS:Nylon does not melt in water,
but burns and decompose when heated strongly.

尼龍的聚合分子很大，在受熱熔化時（與簡單分子化合物受熱熔融一樣），分子內的共價鍵並沒有斷裂，而只是克服了聚合物分子間的引力。由於聚合物分子體積很大，所以分子間范德華力較強，而且聚合物分子間有較強的氫鍵，所以沸水不足以把尼龍熔化。

你要記得, nylon係condensation既方法黎form bond架喎.
boiling water得100度,
絕對唔可以令nylon既bond被拆散.
因為condensation而form既bond係複雜同難拆既.
large amount of energy is needed!
所以唔溶係boiling water係正常既.
