I just know the formular is:

vertical scale
__________

horizontal scale

but, dunno what's horizontal scale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please answer this!!!!

You are right!

The formular is correct.

Horizontal scale is the the scale of the map.(張地圖既比例呎啊)

And then,

vertical scale
__________

horizontal scale

For example,if the verticle scale is 1:5000

the horizontal scale is 1:20000

the answer is 4
