ms-->解女士. 結唔結婚都可以用, 個女士想人地叫她自己的姓氏, 即刻中國人叫'咩小姐'

I second "lyl" and "yin ching" answers. Ms. isn't the same as Miss. Ms. Roberts can be married to Mr. Johnson, but she keeps her own last name. While Mrs. Johnson would be a lady married to Mr. Johnson. Miss Johnson can be a daughter of Mrs. and Mr. Johnson.

mrs係指太太 , 例如mrs chan就係陳太, mrs有指明婚姻狀況，即係人都知你老公姓陳
ms係指女士, 即係d 女人用返自己個姓, 現今社會有好多人認為婚姻狀況係一項私隱，尤其係商界女性，　所以佢地會用ｍｓ黎隱瞞佢地既婚姻狀況

Female who gets married is called Mrs.
Female who don't get married is called Ms(Miss).

Mrs. is used for a married woman that use her husband surname.
Just like your Dad is Mr. Lee, then your Mother is Mrs. Lee

Ms. is usually used to call a girl / woman who is single or she wants othes to call her own surname such as Ms. Wong (her dad surname is Wong).

ms=>小姐..即未結婚

mrs=>太太..已婚..
