Sound like you doing the project.

Basically Maxim is the sole agent for Starbucks Hong Kong and Pacific Coffe is own by Hong Kong people.

Location - Starbuck of course can get the most popular location specially in the business district area. Pacific Coffie will choose popular location but not the center of that area ( in other word the rental is not as expensive as Starbucks location)

Pacific coffee established earlier and it already quite well known by HK people. Starbuck is the American Brand and it have lot of shop located in worldwide.

That about it, I think if you really doing the school project you should spend more time on your own reasearch more than asking other people do it for you.
