give the relationship between the quantity of charge (Q)stored by a capacitor and the voltage (v) across it.find out the value of capacitor(c)if 20 micro -coulomb of charge (Q) is stored on it while the voltage (v)across the capacitor is 100v

Ok. I understand.

For any capacitors, there is a relationship

Q = CV, where Q is the quantity of charge, C is the capacitance and V is the potential difference.

Since Q = 20uC and V=100V,

C = Q / V = 200nF.

Note the units:

[Q]: Coulombs
[C]: Farad
[V]: Volts
