log (3y/x) = log (x+1) - log ylog (3y/x) = log [ (x+1)/y ]
so. (3y/x) = (x+1)/y
(3y)(y) = (x+1)(x)
3y^2 = (x+1)x
y^2 = (x+1)x(1/3)
y = square root of [ (x+1)x / 3 ]
