In The World:
The first overseas plant was set up in Los Angeles in 1970.
Over the next thirty years, 15 other manufacturing plants were established in Thailand, the Philippines, India, China, Brazil and Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong:
On December 20, 1985 a new plant was opened in Taipo, Hong Kong. It is Nissin's fifth overseas plant after the ones in the US and Brazil.
It is a 2-storied building with a floor area of more than 100,000 sq. ft.
Nissin Foods has the highest requirement for the quality of its products. The best ingredients are selected to be manufactured at lightning speed at the fully automated plant.
Recent Development:
Nissin Foods has never stopped its work on research and development. A Central Research Laboratory was set up in Japan in 1988 to develop new products according to the latest consumer needs.
