Yes, completely correct.

[How have you been] is similar to [How are you], where the first one is past-participe and the second one is present tense. The major difference is you can always ask anyone [How are you], but you usually just ask [How have you been] if you know that person and had met that person previously. It is like asking about [So, how is everything since last time we met?]
