a. let x is the total number of seats in the plane(1-16%-4%)x=240
80%*x=240
0.8x=240
x=300
so the total number of seats in the plane is 300
b. 300*4%
=300*0.04
=12
c. total no. of seat=(300-20)=280
percentage of the seats are first class=12/280
=0.043
=4.3%
