we not live for the material.yet it may be the base.but as human being we are different from the animals that we have mind to consider what the problem we have and how to solve it , also try all the way to promote our culture and the civilization.
So spending the money for the heritage conservation is a meaningful activity. It not just protects our old building, but also our collective memory and history in a commercial city.In Hong Kong there are no more history we can see and have , just the new buildings and the skyscrapers. We ought to launch the campaign to conserve the old building which is valuable and historical.Give the chance for our next generation can appreciate those and respect the history.
