Mainly u deal with room reservation with casual guests and travel agents thru the phone. Therefore u must hv good phone cummunications and manner, familiar with the hotel rooms such as how many single, twins, suites, disable or inter-connected rms they do hv. (and facilities such as pool, gym n confrence room). Each hotel hv their own booking computer system (or programme), when u enter certain details, it will let u know the availability n the room rates for the day (or the period of time they enquire) U dnt hv to worry about that cos u will get training, just u hv to be on the phone and with the computer all day long...oh of cos some paperwork.
