IF there are no further change , and added excess conc.H2SO4 to some sugar cubes.Upon heating,CO2, H2SO4 ,H2O were produced.

1.The sugar will change from white to brown and then to black.C12H22O11 ------->12C + 11H2O
2.Conc. H2SO4 in here to preform the dehydrating property
3. 2H2SO4 +C ---------> CO2 + 2SO2 + 2H2O
4. In here the conc. H2SO4 act as an oxidizing agent
5. The experiment should be done in the fume cupboard as SO2 gas is pioson and a lot of heat will release and will push the black C up.
6. Conc. H2SO4 is corrosive and oxidizing.
