L: x- 2y+4=0
2y=x+4
y=(1/2)x+2
Therefore, slope of L = 1/2

The new line L2: y=ax+b is parallel to L.
So, slope of L2 = slope of L
i.e. a = 1/2

Put a=1/2 into the equation of L2.
We have, y = (1/2)x + b

You put any value to b to form an equation. (That is, more than 1 answers are possible)
For example,
Put b=2, y=(1/2)x+2
or, put b=-5, y=(1/2)x-5
