try eating small meals. I am not sure if its okey to eat heavy meal at dinner's time. You might find it hard to digest your food. Have you tried it? I tried once, but I had a hard time sleeping. I was wide awake and took me four hours before I can sleep.
By the way, I do skip breakfast, in exchange for a coffee or chocolate. Then have an early lunch.

Eating breakfast boosts ur metabolism so if u do not eat breakfast u will have a sluggish metabolism which can lead to weight gain. So pliz eat breakfast. A big diner is also bad becoz u r going to eat a lot of food before u go to bed and not going to work it out before u sleep. If you do it regularly, your body becomes confused. Your biggest meal of the day should not be consumed less than four hours before retiring. Your body needs that long to digest it properly and it cannot do it whilst you are asleep. Your body almost shuts down at night, to regenerate and the digestion is one of the first the shut down, so eating big meals in the late evening should be avoided.
Because of the shutting down and regeneration process, your body needs something to kick start it in the morning. If you really cannot face a breakfast of cereal or toast etc, then you should at least have a drink or either milk or fruit juice to start your body moving again. Then have a large meal for your midday meal.
its far better for you to eat a good breakfast, then your brain has something to feed it during the day and doing your work will help work it off, heavy dinner leaves you with all that to digest when you are sleeping and you wont wear any of it off, so it will turn to fat right away.
