First, prepare a solution of hexanedioyl dichloride (in 1,1,1-trichloroethane).
Then, add a solution of hexane-1,6-diamine (in aqueous solution hydroxide) to the solution of hexanedioyl dichloride.
Afterwards, a nylon film is formed at the junction of the two layers and can be picked by forceps.

Hexane-1,6-diamine NH2(CH2)6NH2
.....................................O...........O
......................................||............||
Hexanedioyl chloride ClC(CH2)4CCl

n (Hexane-1,6-diamine + Hexanedioyl chloride) --> n Nylon 6.6 + 2(n-1) HCl

Repeating unit of Nylon 6.6:
......H......................H....O.....................O
.......| .......................|.....||.......................||
--[-- N -- (CH2)6 --- N --C -- (CH2)4 -- C --]--

Note:
H....O
.|.....||
N ---C <-- Amide linkage

(The ...... are just for putting things in the suitable places, you may ignore them)
