Usually a watch, atfer several years, let's say 4-5 years, you need to do the normal servicing even thought the watch is still keeping perfect time or working without problem.

通常一隻手錶戴了幾年(就說4至５年)後都需要做一般保養服務，即使手錶仍然很準碓或性能良好。

But it is only up to different person when treating their watch.

然而，這種做法很視乎個別人對手錶的處理態度。

I myself never take my watch to service even though they have been servicing me for more than 18 years.

就我個人來說，雖些我的手錶巳經用了18年之久，但是我從來沒有把它送往檢修。

Take my R serial daytona as an example, since I bought it, I seldom wear it, almost 18years, the watch is still functioning.

就拿我的Ｒ系列Daytona為例，我18年前買了回來，都很少佩戴，但手錶依然運作正常。

A lot of my friends ask me to take the watch to service because my watch is simply put on the showcase at my house, there will be "oil" sticking in the movement, somewhat like that.

有很多朋友叫我拿手錶去檢修，只因為手錶光陳設在家中，機件表面會出現「油蹟」等說法。

But still, I am afraid to let my babies to go to RSC for service.
