✔ 最佳答案
"mean to do sth" = 特登去做一樣野 / you do something in purpose.

"I don't mean to do sth" = 我唔係特登去做一樣野 / 唔係有心 / you do something without a specific purpose.

e.g. 你o係機場推車的時候撞到人, 你可以話:
Sorry, I didn't mean it. (對不起, 我不是有心的)

你抱起人地個BB, 點知個BB即刻喊, 你可以同BB的媽媽話:
Oh! I didn't mean to make him cry~~~~ (啊! 我唔係特登整喊佢~~~~~)

Another good question,
"mean to do something" is another slang in the USA.
Bascially, it stated if a person want to take an action in purpose.
For example, "She means to do something impressive during the casting interview". = She better/must do something impressive in purpose during the casting interview for a role in the movie.
"The boys don't mean to do something stupid when they are with Uncle John, since Uncle John is a very stern and strict man."
= the boys will not dare or purposely, better not to ... do anything stupid/foolish when they are with the strict Uncle John.
:)
