I think there is intermural and intramural badminton competitions. High School districts, Universities organize those competitions.

But badminton is not a popular sports in U.S.A. The availability of competition will vary region by region.

However, if you are good with badminton, you may become a U.S.A olympic representative easier than you are in HK or China.

Most American never saw a formal Badminton game before. Badminton to them is just a game they play in their backyards. They would be surprised and reluctant to believe when you tell them Badminton is an Olympic game.
