Word equation:
Sodium hydroxide + Iron (II) sulphate → Iron (II) hydroxide + sodium sulphate

Chemical equation:
2NaOH (aq) + FeSO4 (aq) → Fe(OH)2 (s) + Na2SO4 (aq)

Observations:
1. The green colour of the solution fades.
2. Some DIRTY green precipitate is formed.
3. Heat is evolved. (Optional)

NaOH(aq) + FeSO4(aq) --> Fe(OH)2(s) + Na2SO4(aq)
Sodium Hydroxide + Iron(II) Sulphate --> Iron(II) Hydroxide + Sodium Sulphate

Observation:
1. Green colour of solution fades (Fe2+ ion)
2. Green solid formed (Fe(OH)2(s))
