Chateau d'Yquem 2001

因為香港人都是於近幾年才時興飲紅酒，而飲紅酒的人口比例於飲酒一族仍是佔很小，大部份喜愛飲紅酒的對product knowledge 的認知又在起步階段，當部份業內人仕仍對新世界舊世界出品抱佢識我、我唔識佢態度。又試問怎可期望他們會以持平心態去欣賞一向予人低紅酒一檔次的白酒？

I wonder how many out there know about this Great Grand Premier Cru Sauternes?

In the recent years, red wine is more popular than before, specially for Bordeaux, but it also only some big name, for example Ch.Lafite Rothschild, Ch.Latour, ,,,,,,, etc. Ch.Cheval Blanc appear in the film that Andy Lau show in the same film. Actually Chateau d'Yquem is the Great Sweet Wine in the World, unfortuatlly, sweet wines are not popular at this moment, For my option, this great wine is the King of wine, it very difficult to make, one cup of wine worth few hundred dollars, limited production, it very very expansive, and also very difficult to find. That mean even you want to buy , but not sure you can get it.

Chateau d'Yquem is a very sweet dessert white wine, not a dry red wine like Ch. Cheval Blanc which can goes well with the food, especilly with stewed of grilled meat.
