A mixture of one mole of sodium hydrogen carbonate is titrated against a tribasic acid H3X.What is the number of moles of the acid required for complete reaction?

The ans is 1

but I calculate 0.33333

H3X + 3NaHCO3 -->3CO2+3H2O+Na3X

3NaHCO3 + H3X ---> 3CO2 + 3H2O + Na3X
No. of moles: 1 mol. y

y = 1/3 = 0.333333333333333333333333333333333mol.

Therefore, the answer is wrong, your calculation is correct.
