In HK, the new car should have under 40kms as a brand new car, but in Foreign countries, under 100kms is still acceptable because of the delivery in foreign countries is far!
A demo car, in HK not more than 3000kms still consider as a demo car, in foreign countries, under 5000kms is a demo car, in foreign countries the dealer will use demo car to fetch or drop down servicing vehicles owner!
But most of the brand new car will unplug the odometer fuse for the car in the factory, so the odometer only reads the delivery mileage but not the within the factory use mileage!

If you pick up your new car in the dealer's workshop,

salesman to deliver the new car to you, it depends
how far is the distance between the workshop and
the delivery place.
