too fast might not good,
i have a experience can share with you, i got a 10 mins speech at past, i perpare it at home, is about 7-8mins in practics, but when i do it in real speech... my speech is 11-12 mins,... so i think you don't have to speak too fast, just talk about the main point, and don't make it too long....
i recommand you about 150 word / min
