Which of the following statements about concentrated nitric acid is correct ?

B. It can be used to acidify potassium permanganate solution

A.concentrated nitric acid 冇dehydrating property.
conc.sulpuric acid先有
B.唔可以用黎acidify potassium permanganate solution
因為佢自已都係oxidizing agent
撈埋左會變混雜oxidizing agent 失去將potassium permanganate 變oxidizing agent既 原意
C.sodium oxide 同concentrated nitric acid 行反應 係用緊concentrated nitric acid 既acidic property, concentrated nitric acid 同普通acid冇乜分別 都係出鹽水
D.concentrated nitric acid 可以同 Ag and Cu react
Ag + HNO3 => AgNO3 + NO2 + H20
Cu + HNO3 => Cu(NO3)2 + NO2 + H20 (balance係好煩-.- 背書啦)
AgNO3同CuNO3都溶 (沈澱表)

答案係D
重點係:濃硫酸有氧化能力

A:佢係有腐蝕性,不過佢冇脫水性質,因為濃硫酸先至有脫水能力
B:由於佢有氧化能力,所以有機會影響KMnO4..唔太適合(點解我真係唔知)
C:由於氧化能力只限於金屬,所以對於金屬氧化物黎講,佢同普通酸冇分別
D:由於佢有氧化能力,可以將copper同silver溶解,生成硝酸銅同硝酸銀
