Peter: Good morning, Mary.

Mary: Good morning. Oh, Peter, do you think the Chinese New Year holidays are too short?

Peter: Yes, I think so. I really don't want to go to school today. By the way, what have you done during the holidays?

Mary: On the first day, I went to my relatives' houses. I was very happy as I didn't see them for a long time. You know, my little cousin knows how to say, "Kung Hei Fat Choi". Last year, he was just a baby. How amazing!

Peter: Right, time flies and we are now in Form 5. Just thinking of this makes me nervous. Did you work hard during the holidays? I have just revised some notes of Chemistry and Economics.

Mary: I am working hard on my Maths. I started to do execises on the fourth day. On the second day, I went shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui. At night, we watched the fireworks display. It was wonderful. On the third day, I went to Che Kung Temple to worship God. I prayed that I could have good results in HKCEE.

Peter: You are so superstitious!

Alan: Hi, Joe! Did you receive many red packets during this Chinese New Year?
Joe: Nope. Not much. Because my family went to the mainland.

Alan: I see. How many days did you spend there?
Joe: We stayed for 4 hours.

Alan: It is forbidden to play fire crackets in HK. Well, did you play them in the mainland?
Joe: Haaa, of course! My father bought a number of huge fire crackets and we fired them all in the first night.

Alan: I hope you took some pictures of those beautiful fireworks.
Joe: Sure, we did. Most of them are in red and green. One of them costed RMB$ 300!!!! That was the most beautiful cracket that I have ever seen!

Alan: Hey, take me with you next time you go to China.
Joe: Why not?! We'll have lots of fun there.
