Are you talking about "saffron threads"? If so, you should go to the Indian grocery shops in Chung King Mansion, Tsim Sha Tsui. Or you can buy it in Oliver's Delicatessen.
Chung King Mansion is on Nathan Road where there are many Indian restaurants. Indian use this spice a lot. Ask an Indian where to buy it if you dont know where it is.
